Even if you’re not a skier, you can easily enjoy the fun après ski events with friends at a gay ski week. It’s an awesome way to spice up your winter. And while you’re planning, don’t forget about these must-have cold weather and ski accessories.
Here are the top gay ski weeks for the 2023 season along with event dates, location details, and host hotels.
Aspen Gay Ski Week
Aspen Gay Ski Week is one of the most well-known gay ski weeks in the USA. And with every passing year, their events get better and better!
You can look forward to events like a Saturday night pool party, daily après ski gatherings, and a downhill costume party on the slopes, all in addition to skiing the “mountain du jour.”
Passes to Aspen Gay Ski Week come in three tiers which range from $400 to over $1200 per person. You can also buy individual tickets just for the events you want to go to.

Stowe Vermont Winter Rendezvous
Consider Stowe’s Winter Rendezvous weekend pride event if you’re looking for a gay ski week without too much pressure to actually ski the slopes.
Plan on a good time at the signature Stowe Bowl event, a steamy pool party and the Blow Out dance party. Some more relaxed events on the Winter Rendezvous gay ski week schedule include a wine and cheese gathering and drag bingo!
Swiss Gay Ski: Lenzerheide
The Swiss Gay Ski 8-day program is perfect for those who want to focus on hitting the slopes and prefer more of an intimate setting. Newbie skiers can start the week off with lessons and anyone can join the daily guided courses.
Evening events include Hammam Night (which includes some personal masseurs), cinema night, high tea, and daily group dinners. With more intimate events, Swiss Gay Ski is a great place to make some new friends!
Mammoth Gay Ski Week
Mammoth Gay Ski Week is one of the most popular in the United States. It’s one of three events hosted by Elevation, known for their extravagant parties, attended by an international crowd.
Various types of ticket packages are available, including individual event passes, weekend passes or party passes. Planned parties include Throwback Thursday and the sexy GEAR party, among others. Bring your best gay party gear!
Saturday’s signature event is the Rainbow Run, where everyone skis down the slopes in their best rainbow outfits.
European Snow Pride: Tignes
Partnering with Scruff, events at European Snow Pride include daily ski and snowboard groups, après ski, nightly parties, drag shows, and after-hours events.
European Gay Ski Week: Les Arcs
European Gay Ski Week has a huge amount of events you can join, both day and night. From ski school and official hosted excursions to EGSW club nights, daily après-ski and after hours parties, you’ll be plenty busy.
Jasper Pride & Ski Festival
Winter sports, drag shows, live music, and comedy performances are all on the list for Jasper Pride in Canada’s Rocky Mountains. Events span an entire week including two weekends. Definitely a great option for an LGBT ski weekend in the spring!
Jasper Pride’s Facebook page has all the latest event updates. Grab your Jasper Pride Pass, which gets you special discounts at local attractions and restaurants.
Queenstown Winter Pride
To avoid any confusion, Queenstown Winter Pride is the same thing as Queenstown gay ski week. Skiing is part of the pride event lineup!
The event lineup includes over 24 parties, 8 on-mountain days, and a bunch of other events that typically include quiz night, cabaret wars, ladies’ night, and a boat party.
If you love Kiwis and Aussies, Queenstown gay ski week/winter pride is a perfect choice.
Park City Utah Gay Ski Week
Utah Gay Ski Week is part of the epic trio of Elevation ski weeks. Perfect for a long weekend getaway, the events span Wednesday to Sunday.
Things start off with a welcome gathering and the Werq dance party. The week continues on with daily mountain recommendations for both skiers and snowboarders, lunch meet-ups, and hilariously themed evening parties, like Glo-Ho!
Arosa Gay Ski Week
Some of the week’s 12 huge events include Frisco Disco, the Addicted Pool Party, White SnowBall, and Sunset Apero.
Ski passes are pretty affordable at Arosa, especially considering how expensive Switzerland can be.
If you’ll be spending any time in Zurich during your adventure to Switzerland, get recommendations in wolfyy’s Zurich gay guide.
Telluride Gay Ski Week
Telluride gay ski week happens in the picturesque Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where the powder is always superb. It’s one of the most popular gay ski weeks in the United States.
As of 2023, Telluride Gay Ski Week has all-new owners and producers, who plan to bring a host of fresh events while still honoring the event’s traditions.
A few must-mention events include the Gay Sleigh horse-drawn sleigh ride, the Alpine Rendezvous outdoor dance party, the Costume & Drag Ski Race, and the Sno Go-Go afterparty.
Hakuba Gay Ski Week
Hakuba’s Gay Ski Week is among the world’s youngest, making its debut in 2019 at the base of the stunning Japanese Alps.
Internationally known for fresh and deep powder mountains, Japan has long been a ski and snowboard destination. But now, they have their very own gay ski week!
While it may attract a smaller, more intimate crowd, it doesn’t make it any less of a memorable experience. Over 11 activity-packed days, you’ll enjoy live music, the lodge’s notorious dildo racing, and enjoy the vast range of alcoholic beverages and delicious food from Penke Panke Lodge’s Bar & Bistro.
Hakuba Gay Ski Week is more than skiing and snowboarding. It’s also about experiencing and tasting the wondrous and beautiful Japanese culture. The village of Hakuba has no shortage of restaurants offering authentic Japanese cuisine.
Other activities throughout the week include themed parties as well as excursions to Yamanouchi’s famous Snow Monkey Park, a Wassabi farm, and some of the country’s historic architectural sights.
Whistler Pride & Ski Festival
Whistler Pride & Ski Festival is known for providing a truly authentic ski experience along with unmatched hospitality. They offer fantastic daily guided ski and snowboard groups, and plenty of fabulously queer-focused evening events.
Parties throughout the week include various T-Dance and signature Après events, as well as the Splash indoor pool party. You also can’t miss comedy night.
